And I really used a lot Gary and Deanna's essay on it, which is fantastic.
And again, sort of sees it in those kind of moral terms.
Because it's just not a thing.
It's like, and I think Gary says this, it's like, it's a limit case.
It's as far as you can go in body horror.
There's nothing worse than that film.
But I think it's not like a horror film like, I don't know, Human Centipede or something.
It is serious.
It has a serious intensity about it that makes it really, yeah, a masterpiece.

Oh, and the other thing I was going to say, so I was talking about it a couple of weeks ago, and the person who I was talking with was almost acting as if, you know, Pasolini invented these horrors and torments.
And I'd been really struck by one of the famous scenes, which was actually on the poster, is all of the young people nude on their hands and knees lined up.
