And as you find out more and more about Nicholas, you have this sort of realisation that he's somebody who is...
fundamentally desperate because of being, you know, unhoused, unloved, unparented, unnurtured because of his sexuality.
And that means that he becomes very vulnerable.
He needs to shape himself to whatever the situation is.
He needs to fit in.
And that's kind of a thing about being young for everyone.
But it's also specific for the queer person, I think.
