So it was definitely a joint discussion, a joint, you know, a focus on, okay, what is the opportunity here for me to give up a senior partner role

with a huge firm.

And for me to step away from everything that I've kind of known, I've risen through the ranks.

I can tell most people, which I do now, I literally tell people how to, you know, how to advance in their careers or how to, you know, build better leadership teams in terms of when I'm talking to organizations.

So,

I know how to do it, you know, and I hear steps away.

I'm not stepping away because I'm like, oh, you know, I'm just not going to work anymore.

I'm working in a completely different way.

You know, and a lot of people who knew my husband and knew exactly the type of world he's, you know, getting into, you know, had made comments like, you know, amazing, you know, you and your wife, you've worked so hard.

Now your wife doesn't have to work.

And my husband just said, you don't know my wife.

the opportunity made made a lot of it just made a lot of sense you know we did we did that we did every type of you know he's very obviously finite like an analytical i'm very strategic so i think together it was a good combination in terms of how you evaluate the risk and also how do you evaluate the upside and the upside is completely worth it like it's just completely worth it so

You know, we're able now to think about, okay, our goals, you know, for the family and beyond, you know, in the next, you know, however many years, three to five years in terms of some things that we want to do.

And I think for me, being able to then take this, I could have easily transferred with EY over here back to Asia.

I've worked in Asia before.

They were actually, you know, openings.

But it felt like, it felt like there was a message being said to me.

You know, I was, I was finishing up for my maternity leave when again, I told him why that I would be leaving.

And it felt like there was a message, you know, I now, now a mother of three, the girls, my elder girls, they run from five, three and a half about to turn four and then one and a half.

So at the time when they were obviously just like nine months ago, a year ago, in fact, at the time when we made the decision, it was May last year when we made the decision that he would accept, which meant then that I would resign.
