You know, and that basically extends itself to freedom of so many other things.
But I knew that I wanted to be successful, whatever success meant to me at the time.
But I also, part of my success was also, you know, doing things for me.
So that's always been the balance that I've really struck since I was quite young.
So yeah, that hopefully gives you a little bit of an insight into some of my upbringing.
I mean, I always say with what I do now, which is ultimately a lot around leadership, development and advisory, right?
So I guess we'll talk about that pivot at some point.
But I always attribute resilience
the success I've had in my kind of corporate career.
And even till now, I always attribute a lot of it to what I call one of four pillars, right?
And I'll touch upon my four pillars maybe a bit later in a different question.
But the one pillar of the four that I always talk about is the mindset.
And to me, that's been the biggest gift I think I've had.
And I think that comes from just, you know, installed into who I am, like, you know, a mixture of upbringing and a mixture of, you know, things that were just ingrained in me from birth and then plus the environment around you, you know, and I talked about some of that environment earlier.
I think for me, that mindset of, and I heard it growing up, you know,
You can do it.
Don't wait for others to show you.
Don't wait to be told.
And if you're constantly told that, then you start to believe actually that you can do it.
And then there comes a point where you know that things may not be true.
