You know, during the telecom or the internet bubble, there was no earnings.

I mean people were just speculating and prices were surging whereas earnings were not really going up.

That's a great question.

And that's something that we've been thinking quite a lot about.

If you look at

Information processing equipment.

So basically semizen hardware as percentage of GDP.

It's at about two point five percent right now.

And it's still below the internet peak level and pretty much in line with the PC boom level uh in the nineteen eighties.

Based on hyperscalers consensus estimates, CapEx consensus estimates, that number is gonna shoot up to about three percent potentially by the end of this year.

And that three percent number is pretty much in line with the railroad investment cycle back in the eighteen fifties.

And and I think that means that this could be as big as it gets unless the other parts of the economy start growing as well.

Yeah, because who's really funding the CapEx cycle?

It's yes, it's hyperscalers through their operating cash flow, which is really tied to the overall economy.

And it's really enterprises spending on cloud.

services and AI that's funding the CapEx cycle.

So I think profit cycle has to remain healthy and I think it will.
