His mother does it and it's called Sarmale.
And it's basically, it's delicious.
It is chopped onions, chopped garlic in mincemeat and they wrap it around a cabbage leaf.
Oh, it's really delicious.
And then they let it roast for like a couple of hours.
And then you can have it with like sour cream or yogurt.
Never tomato based.
You can make the sauce out of tomato, but that I think makes it more Italian then.
So the East European side of the world, they wouldn't do that.
Does she live near you?
No, she lives in East Europe, in Romania.
Every two, three months.
And the nice thing about them is that she does them in like lunch boxes and then you can freeze them.
And then when I'm like, I'm too tired, I'll just go to the freezer and then I'll just take two or three and then I make them for my husband.
