The other thing, though, is that's more of a question of how do you guys manage the household finances?

I do think your immediate statement, do I just dwindle down my savings?

I think that, to me, doesn't really sit right with you.

It's what it sounds like.

And from the outside looking in, it doesn't really sound very fair.

You both have a child and your savings disappear.

So I would say that what you need to do is you need to come together now before the sleep deprivation.

You need to sit down together now and say, how are we going to manage this?

What's this going to look like?

I have no income coming in or very little income coming in or I have this social welfare benefit coming in and this is what I'm going to have.

You're going to have your same income coming in.

And remind, if the argument gets heated at any stage, remind them that there's always an article once a year in the papers that says it's somewhere between 50 and 60 thousand euros a year is what it would cost to have someone stay at home if you wanted to pay them to do all the jobs that you're going to be doing.

So you can remind them of that.

But ultimately, it is just about setting aside some time and saying, this is not what it's going to look like.

What way is this going to work?

Because the opposite of doing that is you say nothing.

You get to a sleep deprived couple of months in your life where you might be a little bit cranky, might be a little bit cranky.

And it's then you're trying to deal with it.

And it makes it incredibly difficult to try and see the wood for the trees or to make any sense or rational decisions around that time.

Because at that stage, if the conversation is coming up, it's because there's already a problem.
