Yeah, you're not mates, that's for sure.
Yeah, well, if you break the terms and conditions, just like you do with a utility bill, right?
That's not credit, but they extend you a product.
They can pass that on to debt collectors.
Yeah, right.
Well, at the end of the day, the argument for people that are pro-afterpay is like, well, you should pay it back on time because it's not your money.
The really logical argument is that, well, a rational person would use buy now, pay later service because they know the time value of money and compound interest.
They would pay for something using afterpay or whatever, split it, and then just pay it off.
My counterpoint to that is how many people do you know that are rational?
No, that's it.
We're not.
So, yeah, it's a good argument and it makes sense if you are the type of person that can pay off things.
Credit cards sound good too if you're the type of person that can pay off things.
But, you know, we're all able to pay it off until we're not.
I had to say, just stay away from it, but we'll get to that.
