A habit might be withdrawing $50 every week from your bank account and putting it in cash in a jar.
And people will be like, oh, why do you do that?
Well, the actual act of taking the money out, seeing it in front of you, is very powerful.
If I laid a pineapple down in front of you, a $50 note, or I said you can save $50...
You're going to see that money and you're going to be like, I want that.
I want to keep that.
And so that's a powerful visualization trick that you can use on yourself.
And you can make habits like this.
This is one from Sophie down the front here.
So there's actually an app that lets you do this.
So you can download this app, again, for free.
It even says open source.
If you're a developer, you can contribute to it.
This app will help you set a habit and then remind you to do it, or you can track to see which days you actually completed it and which days you did not.
Very powerful.
This comes from a fund manager that I, well, he referenced someone else, but the chains of habit are too light to be felt until they're heavy to be broken.
I've repeated that so many times.
You're probably like, who is this guy?
Get an original idea.
But that's true, right?
