Especially this the new generation doing it because that's their connection to their home.

Oh, one of my favourite places to eat.

Think about really no frills um simple uh locanta um sort of Tratoria style places where

there's great big window where you see as you enter the the locanta trays of freshly cooked, beautiful, home style food.

make it red lentil soup, marijuana chorbasi that I talk about, or a dolma or casserole or a stew, a lot of vegetarian stuff, like vegetables cooked in oil, salads, meshe, sweets, all laid out in beautiful trays, gently being reheated with something under it.

So as you enter you are mesmerized by the smells anyway.

And they you pick up your tray, there's that

there with the smile says, Which one would you like?

So you point might not have a

mean a plate of that chorba, d plate of that dolma, please, and then you toddle off with your tray full of

Plates of incredible food.

Pay a fraction of what you would pay uh in a you know, uh served restaurant, um and sit down perhaps with your family, perhaps with a stranger.

I used to have that after school, you know, having a little pudding break with my friends and you know, and nourishing, delicious, and you know, it is

Fast food in a cooked in a slow way, but solid.

It used uh these restaurants used to serve to tradesmen back in the day, but now folks all walks of life, grandmas, mums, students, tourists, now they discovered.

And I think so lovely my father Orhan loved it and we used to go to his f favourite Lades restaurant in in Beol or Balkan.

in Besiktas and he would always order Majimek Chorbas.
