I'm Padraig O'Tooma and here I am in conversation with Kimberly Campanello.

So, Kimberly Campanello, I am delighted to talk to you.

You are right now in England, is that right?

That's right.

I am in New York in the United States, Lenape land, and it is the morning time.

I cycled across Manhattan this morning to get to the studio.

You grew up in the States, Kimberly, in Elkhart, Indiana, and your family had a restaurant, is that right?

What did you know about care from the restaurant?

And your ancestors too.

I'd like to stay with Elkhart for a while.

Firstly, was it an Italian restaurant or was that the only kind of restaurant that there was in Elkhart?

The ghosts of the trees.

You had a teacher who taught you classics as well in school, Mrs. Dewey.

I was curious to hear a bit about her.

Yeah, clearly.
