Look, I think there's been a lot of change at the club.

First of all, you want to start off as good as you can the first series of games and build on that.

Obviously, a club like Waterford is probably looking at a cup competition having not won it for X amount of years.

It's a long, long time to be without a trophy at the top level.

So, you know, a good cup run can really, you know, spur you on for the following season, as we saw with Drogheda a couple of years ago when they won the cup and they went on to have a really good season last year.

So, you know, that's the type of thing we need to be looking at.

Obviously, it's going to be very difficult this year to break into that top half of the table with the teams that are on show in that half and probably the budgets that they have compared to maybe the ones in the other five.

So it's going to be really difficult, but, you know, it's a challenge that we're up for.

I seem to play Shells in the first game of the RSC every third year in a row.

Our first home game has been against Shelburne and they're the games you want to play in.

You want to play against good players, you want to play against good teams.

We were welcomed in the Champions this time last year when it was our first home game of the season.

They're great battles.

It doesn't matter who you play, it's always going to be a tough game.

We're really looking forward to it.

It's been a while since we've had a game with supporters there.

A lot of pre-season games have been behind closed doors.

I know they're really looking forward to it and hopefully it's a good start to the season for us.

I think ultimately it doesn't really matter.

You can win your first couple of games of the season and still go on to have a really difficult season.
