I would see a situation here where we're going to have to create some sort of a cordoned off barrier system where you actually have to swipe a card or tap a fob to get into an area in order to charge.
Because look, as EV adoption becomes greater, we're going to have this problem get worse and worse.
Well, if you want... How far can you push it?
If you consider, it's called the charging curve.
So the charging will be at its fastest at the very lowest percentage of the battery, and then that slows down as it gets more full.
So the really shrewd way is to drive it up to about, you know, say 20%.
I drive it to about 5% or 6%, but I'm used to them at this stage.
But if you drive to that point, because the reason is, once you get to that first charger again, you're going to charge much faster...
Driving, you know, pulling in at 70% and into a fast charger is not really that true because you're just going to be slow and waiting for that extra 30% too long.
Yeah, that's what that text is referring to is the battery state of health.
So it's like your mobile phone.
If you have an iPhone or whatever else for a number of years, you'll see in that your state of health might be down at 75, 80 percent.
When people are buying EVs, especially if they're buying used EVs, they need to look for that state of health because it's a really good marker of what the longevity of that battery is.
But look, there's no reason if you do mind your EV and if you service it well, if you charge it primarily on slower chargers, the amount of kilometres you can put on is huge.
