Now, I don't know if those figures really tell the full story because a lot of the checkpoints would be at very targeted and in particular targeted areas.

Look, I would see this as an issue that really needs to be addressed soon because we've seen the numbers, the detection numbers have dropped by about a third since 2010, which is worrying.

So, you know, there is one issue in terms of the person who's, you know, potentially, in averted commas, made a mistake.

But there are repeat offenders who've been arrested two, three times.

And, you know, Professor Dennis Cusick, who was speaking at a conference last year, pointed out that

A huge portion of these people are alcohol dependent.

So these aren't people who are, you know, these people need to be protected from themselves.

So these devices would be fitted to people who've been caught and it would prevent them from driving their car again if they had alcohol on them.

Now, you do in Ireland have to reconcile yourself to the fact that if you're driving a convertible, I had them before we had kids.
