I mean, we've seen stories over the recent weeks where it's emerged that the ESB said that they can't actually charge all the EVs at one time.

There's about 1,600 chargers and only about 1,400 can charge at the same time.

So there is a bit of an issue there with the technology of some of those.

But look, we are certainly seeing, you know, we're seeing...

And there's a lack of understanding for some people in terms of how the batteries work.

So there's a thing in a battery called a charging curve.

So basically, lots of heat is built up when you're at a fast charger and the battery will protect itself by rapidly slowing down the charge on a fast charger from 80 to 100%.

So if James is going to charge his car in Cashel from 10% to 80%, it's going to take about 30 minutes.

But if he wants to charge from 80% to 100%, that could take an extra 40 or more minutes because the battery management system is trying to protect itself and increase the longevity of the battery.

So a charge that should have taken 30 minutes...

you could be waiting for someone who is there for an hour and five minutes.

Now, the person who's taking that charge has gone from, you know, costing them 40 quid to probably about 65 euro because they've taken so long and also overstay fees.

Well, constant fast charging at a battery will over time reduce the state of health.

State of health is really the longevity of the battery.
