I mean, that is definitely a big theme.
That's right.
I mean, science has definitely given older women more options to become moms, primarily through IVF, especially if you're single.
IVF is expensive.
The cost can range from $15,000 to over $30,000.
And then there is the very real drop in fertility for women over 40 when even IVF may not work.
So the success rate is as low as 20% in some cases.
But for those who can afford it and for whom it is successful, it can feel like a miracle.
And that leads me to another statistic, Aisha, that I have to share with you.
You know the number of unmarried women in their 40s and 50s who are having children?
It's a small group, but it has risen 250% in the last 30 years.
I'm going to let that sink in with you, Aisha.
That growth is massive.
So obviously, you know, a lot of these women, it's a joyous experience to have a baby.
