Um and I guess it also opens up the question about, you know, climate change.

Uh so basically the glacial region of Nepal, uh the the m melting ice has doubled since twenty twenty.

Twenty twenty.

Wow.

And they'd been complaining or at least asking uh the Chinese authorities for more information about some of the data that they were getting around that the you know, the top of that region.

Uh so I think they'll this'll this'll certainly provoke more questions about that and hopefully a bit more data sharing about what's going on.

But um it it actually reminded me I I was I was there in twenty fifteen, so there was a massive earthquake in twenty fifteen in Nepal.

In fact I'd been over at um at the one hundred year uh commemorations of Gallipoli.

And so that earthquake in Nepal happened on April twenty fifth, Anzac Day.

And uh I just finished I just got off air, we saw what was happening and me and my cameraman jumped in the car, drove to Istanbul.

And flew out to Kathmandu airport that night.

I think we were one of the last flights to get in there.

And it was just crazy.

You know, like, um, I think there were nine thousand people killed in that earthquake.

Wow.

Uh but the the Nepal people are just the most beautiful people.

They they they really are.

They've got a really beautiful culture, similar to Maori and and Pacifica uh cultures.

You know, they're very um
