It was a bit like that.

But um

Yeah, so uh yeah, uh we we certainly send our best best wishes to to everyone in Nepal and it such a strong connection with New Zealand as well, you know, with obviously um with Hillary and uh and you know the different expeditions we've had over there.

I know there's a lot of uh uh aid and charitable organizations uh have been up and running and you're probably seeing some posts around that now for for people wanting to uh or asking for donations.

Um if you h if you do have the opportunity

um live every day like it's your last.

Yeah, no.

Uh be grateful for what you have.

Uh particularly with with Farno, you know.

And uh and always be prepared to help someone else, you know, like um some of these situations, you know, the as I said, there's been stories of remarkable survival and it's because someone's someone's helped someone else, you know.

And um yeah, I've seen some some terrible things, you know, an earthquake in China once where, you know, all and numbers of school children were killed and and then going and seeing parents identifying

their kids, you know, and that was you know, that was back in the day when it was a one child policy and so, you know, that's a that's a generation wiped out, you know, like um

Uh, but there are and on that occasion I remember I'd I'd been there all day reporting and then this um this this man comes over and he's got a uh bag of boiled eggs 'cause he noticed that me and my cameraman hadn't eaten all day and so he's just, you know, sharing the love, you know, like um you that we're working and

Yeah, it's stuff like that.

I mean it it really does.

Uh and I can't tell you how many times people have opened their homes to me over the years.
