They grew crops, they grew potatoes, you know, to to to sell to the settlers when they arrived.

So they had big, big plans.

And you just kind of wonder what would have happened.

if it had been a shared prosperity case, you know, that that they'd grown together and and form this great community.

Instead they they got ripped off.

Yeah.

And they so they complained about it, they went to the courts about it.

Um, the the the property ended up being put in a trust that the government was then in charge of.

And so the the but that trust didn't work for the for the locals, it didn't work at all.

So many of them became impoverished, they didn't have land, they didn't have opportunities, a lot of them moved away.

And this thing has been bubbling along for years and years and years.

They went to the high court, they went to the appeals court, they went.

to the Supreme Court, they went back to the appeals court, they went to the High Court again.

finally won.

And so the government had to had to stump up.

They'd found they're being remiss.

They hadn't uh looked after the the property as a trust owner as they should have done.

They had to give it back.

So this is yeah, national parks.
