And so that makes up 20% of the world's fuel oil supplies.

But mostly, I think it's like 80% of Asia's oil supply.

So that affects us here in New Zealand a lot.

It's become the most unpopular war in America's history, which is saying something when you've got

Vietnam.

Wow.

And it's going to have major repercussions, too, I think, for Trump because they've got the midterm elections coming up.

So the midterm elections decide who controls the Senate, who controls the House.

And so, you know, if they if the Republicans end up losing because of this and it's looking like that might happen, that will further diminish Trump's ability to be able to rule and and to make laws.

So, yeah, there's a lot going on.

but generally speaking for new zealanders you know the thing that we're going to notice and you might have seen the the the price of petrol for 91 again has started to hover around three dollars a liter you know that that's that's tough you know when that starts happening for long periods you know it impacts every single thing uh for us obviously there's you know the the cost of driving around this cost of freight there's the cost of so many different things products we put on ourselves supermarket shelves it all goes up so

I know we can often get fatigued about these things and go, oh, there's nothing I can do about it.

But I think it's good to be aware of it and start planning that this could be going on for some time.

Well, they did a few workarounds in terms of getting fuel around.

And for us in New Zealand, I think the government did a pretty good job of securing...

supply of petrol.

So we've never been at a point where we were dangerously close of running out of petrol and diesel.

I think at the moment we've got something like 38 days for petrol and diesel and air fuel.

And if you count the stuff that's on its way over here now, it's up to about 50 days.

So that pressure's gone and that anxiety is gone.
