And in many, many years, it's not like when Jerry Reinsdorf went to Big Jim Thompson and Mike Madigan and got his entire, you know, Comiskey Park paid for.

That appetite's not there.

And I know for a fact that consultants have told Kevin Warren this, and he has not heeded that advice.

I mean, remember at the beginning when they had that press conference two years ago,

uh... for for a new south uh... lakefront site uh... the lawmakers said he asked for nine hundred million dollars just straight up and and and consultants are saying hey there's no appetite for they can't do that kevin warren saying ah they're gonna come around to it you know the bears are so popular when they realize how much excitement there is lawmakers will feel the pressure and that never happened and it seems like the timing of this is like the same thing well the bears are at the height of their popularity right now

And again, maybe it's because they're the Bears and Bear fans are going to side with the Bears.

But Lawrence, I think you said it perfectly.

Does he realize that Bear fans are also Illinois taxpayers?

And just because they're excited about what's happening on the field, that doesn't mean they're going to react positively to the notion that.
