And that might be, it's a good point, Lawrence, because they still have that lease at Soldier Field, and they have to pay a penalty, something like $80 million, I think, to get out of it early.

Governor Pritzker said he had proposed, what was it, was it 90?

Yep.

Yeah, yeah.

So Governor Pritzker is saying, why don't you pay the rest of the debt on that, which is something like half a billion dollars.

We're still going to be paying the refurbishing of that, even though it happened 20 some odd years ago, you know, for another, you know, 10 years or whatever.

So so he's saying that the bears are going to do that.

But maybe maybe that's the crux of a deal here, a negotiation, I think, in Cleveland.

Did the Browns pay $100 million to get out of their lease early to go to the Burbs to build their new stadium?

Maybe to get some of these Chicago Senators on board, they upped the money that the Bears have to pay to break that lease.

And that would go to what we've reported in terms of trying to make Soldier Field retrofitted to be primarily a concert venue.

Now, maybe...

that's a deal here and maybe because people are calling the bears bluff maybe the city has leverage here maybe the bears like you say they lose all their leverage after may 31st maybe they come to the table say okay 100 million dollars 100 million dollars for soldier field for chicago for the park district to break the lease do we have a deal that could be happening i don't know i don't have first-hand insight but that's the crux of what some of these chicago lawmakers are looking at now they can say okay

I voted to allow the Bears to leave, but look at the money I brought back for Soldier Field and for Chicago.
