From the first day I met him, he's been very straight, disciplined, principled, and he never pampered me.
God never pampers me.
I mean, if I do anything wrong, he was right there to tell me it's right or wrong.
That's how I grew up.
So when I come to America and people take God so much for granted, it really scares me.
You know, one day I said, God, you're not an American, are you?
He didn't respond because he knew I knew the easy answer.
Because he's all things.
He's all things.
So I asked my friends what was the most affordable way to go to Washington State.
They said buy the Greyhound bus because I needed to borrow the money.
You know, I had to be very frugal with whatever I had.
So instead of flying or going by train, I decided to go with a Greyhound.
Well, three days, three nights, you know, I was on that trip.
I didn't have any extra cash, so I didn't eat at all for three days, three nights.
We go to Billings, Fargo.
And at the bus stop, sometimes the grand bus, they'll change drivers.
So a guy who sat next to me found out that I wasn't eating at all on the drive, on the journey.
And so he got pizza, gave me a little piece.
That was my first time I ever ate pizza.
