I love the Tigers going well.
And I love the whole...
vibe of like they brought benji back and then you see um hodgson on the sideline running the running the waters and you see chris hyington there like i think it is similar to what i was saying about the dragons obviously not the coaching stuff but in there of bringing back that winning culture and i guess they know what it's like to win at a club like the tigers and it's so good to see it's an interesting interesting recipe isn't it with
I think it's pretty fair for us to be second favour.
It's just not maybe as much as because of how we've been performing, but more so how other teams have.
There's obviously Panthers who were clear in the first five rounds, but there's no other teams that are really standing out.
You had Canberra who won the comp last year, not going too well.
Melbourne, obviously.
Broncos, very injury riddled.
So I think it's just...
we fell into that kind of rather than rather than earning it as such like i definitely think we'd be up and around there for sure but i think it's more so on that side of things with the cherry evans one i i think it would definitely take time to adjust and i'm not in any way shape or form comparing him to a cooper cronk but you saw in 2018 that it did take a lot of time for that to click and it took about
I'd say half the year till we really started looking like a potential contenders.
And, you know, everyone thought it was a silly idea and no, Jerry Evans isn't on that level, but he's an experienced half and the most experienced in the game, but it is a bit difficult with Sam Walker as compared to a Luke Keery.
Obviously Luke Keery was an out and out.
One of the, one of the greatest five, eight to my opinion, I loved watching him, but he was very good at playing second fiddle.
So I don't think Sam Walker should have to, but between him and Sherry Evans, it's the obvious one, but they're going to have to figure it out.
And I think they're getting there, but it's just about them finding the comfortability together, I think.
There are definitely levels to go, but the fact that it was so early in the year is... If this was in the back end of the year, after round 20 or something, I'd be like, okay, well, it might be a bit late to kind of turn that around.
But it was, what, round three or four.
It was very early on in the season.
