And I've been to some big gatherings.

And, you know, you go to a sold-out game at Wrigley or any football or basketball

baseball stadium in America or anywhere else.

And, you know, there's going to be 50, 60, maybe 70,000 people there.

And I'd been to concerts before.

I saw the Who and the Grateful Dead in a concert at the Oakland Coliseum.

I think they had 60 or 70,000 for that.

But this crowd at Grant Park was way beyond any crowd I had ever seen.

So I asked

The stagehand, they had a stagehand.

He was kind of in charge of the amplifier and the microphones and things.

And I said, how many people do you think are here today?

Because it was my job to go out and welcome them and then introduce all the players, which I was happy to do and excited to do.

But I thought, my goodness, there are a lot of people here.

And I said, how many do you think are here?

He said, well, we had the Rolling Stones here a couple of years ago, and they had 800,000.

There's more today.

So, okay, more than 800,000.

All right, here we go.

But I thought before I wanted to introduce the players, and obviously that was going to be the focal point of the entire ceremony, but there were four people that I had to acknowledge before we introduced anybody else.
