But anyway, let's look at, let's just go back to last week.
First of all, one thing you always talk about Jimmy McGuinness teams, the Germany goal team, is that they bring intensity and work rate.
They didn't bring that last week.
I've never seen a Donegal team that were out-worked in terms of intensity and work.
That was number one.
Secondly, we know the changes.
One of the changes Jimmy McGuinness has brought about this year is he has changed that zonal defensive, that low block.
And he's now...
pressing out more and he's now going man to man the problem is you know the way jimmy jimmy when he brought in this system they walked through this for a year two years now they're trying to implement this new defensive system in the space of a couple of months and it they're not still comfortable with it and there was no doubt about it as i alluded to earlier on uh
Down found lots of pockets of space in that Donegal defence.
That's so unlike.
The third thing I see about Donegal is something I've always said in this podcast.
Donegal lack a kicking game.
They're a running team.
They're a running team in transition.
And there's two problems I see with this being a running team.
One...
It's very taxing to maintain that 70 minutes in heat and say, it's difficult, number one.
But being a running team and a very good running team and a very good in possession, it's one dimensional.
There's no plan B, there's no variety to their play.
