Something unusual happened, which is a mayoral candidate rose to prominence that was not from any particular family.
No one really knew her.
She was a local Bam Bam girl, didn't make much of a name for herself.
Her name was Alice Guo.
And since growing up, she had started a few businesses and decided to run for mayor.
She had quite a good campaign.
She was quite a charismatic sort of character.
She just got right over the line, about 500 votes made the difference in her campaign.
But she won and started to become a real local character as the mayor of Band Band.
She would have these Alice Guo.
logos on a shirt that were done in sort of the Disney font.
I th you'd probably get sued for it if you tried it in.
Mm-hmm.
She'd dress in hot pink, she'd bring a little Pomeranian around.
