Now, f I know there are adults out there who are not readers.
And maybe they don't want to be readers at this stage.
Read children's books.
Read the picture book that you're trying to get the child to read.
Read the novel that you're trying to get the child to read.
There is nothing better in a house than everybody reading the same book.
Even if that's a picture book, from the adults down to the smallest child, everybody will have an opinion.
to express themselves, to debate, to argue.
You know, that's the thing we're kind of losing as well, because they're not talking as much.
I notice like twenty somethings now.
They don't want to speak on the phone.
They want to send a text or they want to send an email.
They they don't want to talk.
Uh and that is i we can't afford to lose that scale, I think.
You know, we need to be able to argue, we need to be able to put forward points of view.
Um and reading really helps with that.
But you know, I always say it is the cheapest fix.
It's the beginning of the year now, they're going into a new class and all parents are making decisions.
