So I was...

I get nerves before every match and that's how I know I'm ready to go, ready to play.

So, yeah, they were there.

Lots of excitement and a lot of energy and ready just to go out and put on a good show for the country and try and get the best results we could.

So that was our goal and, yeah, we did everything we could to achieve that.

Yeah, it was amazing.

I think I said about a month ago or so that when I came into the camp, I got the opportunity given and got selected.

I just wanted to come in every day and work my hardest and learn off, you know, everyone in the squad and become a better player.

And, you know, what was on to offer there in terms of, you know, the facilities and the staff and just the professionalism that was there was second to none.

And it was just a great environment to be a part of leading up to the World Cup.

I found out about maybe a couple of days before the game.

I got the nod from the boss and the goalkeeper coach, Frank Uch, and I was told that I would be playing the first game.

So yeah, about two days before the game.

Yeah, well, I guess with international football, it's nowhere near as frequent as club football.

You get together every, I don't know, three or four months, and there's a handful of games in a short amount of time, and then you head back off to club football.

So it's very short and sharp, but obviously in this case with the World Cup, you know, there's a lot more...
