Shipping costs set to double as companies rush to import goods before China-U.S. trade ends. So for me, I would love for those things to be built here, but you just have to know. The prices are going to go up. So major shipping carriers... like Hapag-Lloyd, plan to raise their rates for a 40-foot container from China to West Coast to $6,500, Vinny, from $3,500.
