Uh it usually ends up with um with us, hopefully.
Uh and we will if they don't have an accessor, they will probably end up maybe leasing it, maybe entering a collaborative arrangement or in time then it may be sold.
Often to a neighbour or maybe to a relative or it could be to an outside party, then depending on the scale or the size of the farm.
They're getting out maybe d due to age in in some cases, or or maybe that they've maybe worked hard for the past ten or twenty years and they've t they think it's time to retire.
Or maybe it could be a family choice that maybe they want to see enjoy their retirement better with their family.
So we have currently we have four facilitators on the ground nationwide.
Um and I suppose why they're not meeting it I suppose sometimes farm scale might be an issue, like obviously the viability of the farm to lease it or to go into collab arrangement with another person or party might not just be income viability again, like that they're not can't make enough money for two parties to survive on it.
Yeah, well look we would there's more than than four of us look at we have like a Chagas are dealing with it now.
Most major co ops are heavily involved in in their own right, um, trying to secure their own meat pool.
So like look at i it's it's an it's a nationwide problem obviously and we're hopeful that everyone will row in behind it and try and
match this demand.
Look at we're not doing enough to encourage young people probably into it.
Um and obviously maybe w we're kinda starting in the last couple of years to educate maybe our older farmers on maybe the different options out there like collaborative farming, like long term leasing, maybe share farming arrangement, like to encourage them into these options that are working.
