I kind of did.
Like, I grew my hair.
Basically, I looked the same.
You know the way they used to say that older ladies dress like they were in their prime?
I'm pretty much like that now.
I basically looked like this from about 19 on, except now I'm the elderly version of this.
And why the pixies gigantic?
It was the, I think when my friend was introducing me to all the punk stuff, it was a little hard edged for me, but I liked the hard edge.
So then when I found bands like the Pixies, I just loved the fact that they could do melodies.
And like, this is the one, this is one song by Kim Deal, the bass player, and she's just got a gorgeous voice.
And it's a beautiful song, you know, even though it's kind of weird at the same time.
And that's kind of my happiness.
So it's Phil Collins, but with fuzz guitar and heavy bass.
It's more of a subverse of the gender.
