What exactly have you discovered in this manuscript?

And how significant are the technical observations in this manuscript?

And I think Galileo liked to say that he didn't sell his telescopes, but he sometimes gave them away.

And that was to help with patronage and to help with these important royal connections.

So how important was the telescope?

How much did it change the world and our understanding of the world beyond our own planet?

So tell me about this manuscript.

It was written in 1666 by a Spanish Dominican friar.

And tell me about who he was and what he describes in it and how he attributes it to Galileo.

And the king accepted.

And what does that lead to then?

And what it shows is that Galileo may have been involved, and these four lens telescopes may have been developed earlier than we believe that they were.

How certain are you that this can be attributed to Galileo and that we can see Galileo's fingerprints all over this?

And finally, why were telescopes considered so important at that time?

Was it because they were useful or essential, integral to new scientific discoveries?
