But I think the strength of the Emily Wilson version is that it is showing that this might not have been the language that they were using, but this was the type of words or sentences or constructions that they would have been using in terms of what was popular in their time.
Matthew, it's very much a modern text in the sense that the themes are so relevant and they resonate today.
Themes of identity and disguise and whether you can ever truly come home and about war and violence and the legacy of that violence.
It's set in the past and it was written in the past and it was passed down over the centuries.
But the themes that it's dealing with are very much the themes that we are struggling with today.
