So I recognize what you're saying, but I am hoping to live in a world where they hit home runs on every single transaction from here through to 2029 so that they aren't just tracking to be back in the playoffs, but they are stepping into their contendo window in 2030.

I don't think there's a surprise Philip Roenick trade, but I do think there's still a good chance of a PD trade.
Now, the challenge there is, you know, even with retention, what is an acceptable return, even given the inherent risk to the other team, right?
Is a second-round pick acceptable to retention?
