And that's why it all matters, because they saved our country that day, and it's these founding principles which will save our country now.

It's uh definitely up there in the one and two range.
It's amazing how uh close.
I don't think there's ever been a situation where the United States would have could have been lost entirely.
There's a second uh the second battle of Trenton is another close one where they could have split the army in half and destroyed it, but here.
A British victory could have been total and it would have ended the the American Revolutionary War.
It's it's an extraordinary uh battle that few people know about.
And just it was just today was so special to be able to commemorate.
These men that fell at the you know, this day two hundred and fifty years ago, that saved our country and the fellowship here, it it this is extraordinary.
That was that this has been such a s a personal journey, Steve, because 16 years ago, almost to this day, this this month, is when Willie Buell and I walk this ground.
We found the rusted old sign only a few yards away from me at the Michael Raleigh American Legion Post where we're at now.
And it struck me that was such a powerful moment.
I wanted to know who these men were.
