So get people hooked into the fact that what you're about to do is the most important part of your job.
And even the CEO could say, and I'm going to evaluate this team based on how we perform here.
We're not just trying to get time off the clock.
Okay, that's a great question.
The leader is responsibility for making sure that happens.
So they are accountable for making sure that happens.
They can delegate something based on a person's strengths, skills, their working genius to say, I want you to be responsible for this and you to be, but they cannot.
You can delegate that, but you can't abdicate it.
They can't say, Susan's going to run our meetings.
So Susan, what are we talking about?

And as far as preparing goes, I'm actually believer in not over preparing, but coming there and reviewing what's going on in the first 10 minutes.
