That's an issue that's just come up in our discussions of youth soccer.
You know, because I call it the over professionalization of youth sports, you know, and we're responsible even in our John McEnroe Tennis Academy here where I'm at right now to a certain extent.
Now we have a scholarship program that helps kids that can't afford it, but you're doing it kind of in a more haphazard kind of way.
And obviously the USDA is a governing body that can fund a lot of this and they do that.
But it's definitely much trickier because it's almost like you have to give up everything to become a tennis player.
And in Europe, it's, you know, it's not quite the same model.
Yeah, I'd agree.
Well, there's definitely a desire.
Like you said, to me it's more about giving more kids the opportunity.
So opening up to just more athletes.
If you have more of them playing, you'll have a better chance.
It doesn't matter what their background is.
There's plenty of excellent players that came from
you know, families that were fairly well off, you know, Federer and Nadal weren't struggling to, you know, get fed when they were kids.
So it's a combination, but you're definitely onto something that it's part of it.
It's a part of the larger equation, which is what, you know, and it's also part of the reason why,
We have a lot of incredible athletes that are young women playing tennis.
Now, I ask you all, why do you think that's different than men?
Answer me the question, Chuck.
Why do you think that is?
