The way it was described is that he comes out onto the balcony.
It's quite a shallow balcony, a long, shallow, curved balcony, and that he crosses over to one side and looks over the edge, and then goes all the way over to the other end and looks over the edge.
Then he crosses back to the middle,
And he jumps and he projects outwards toward the river.
So it's not, you wouldn't, if you jumped right down, you'd hit the pavement.
You wouldn't hit the river.
He jumps out and it's about 10 feet.
And he almost makes it clean into the river, but he clips his hip on the embankment on the way down.
I can't really speak to the nature of what was happening.
I think probably when he went from one side to another, he was looking to see if it was possible to get off the balcony and get to the balcony beneath or to get to another of the balconies.
I think that these were the actions of somebody who wasn't looking to kill himself.
I think he was looking to escape.
The Thames is a tidal river.
So on the night when Zach died, the tide was running high.
But by the following morning, the tide had dropped.
