And that's been a steady increase over pretty much two years now.
Chicken prices have actually been ticking up a little bit.
Wings have actually more than doubled at the wholesale level.
And chicken boneless, skinless breasts is one of the more popular items.
And that's up about 30% over the last 12 months.
And some of that is there's a more limited supply of chicken right now.
See, last year, we actually had a glut of chicken.
Tyson kind of overproduced.
And there was so much chicken on the market that prices crashed.
And this past year, we've seen some plant closures.
Some of the chicken companies talked about there's this issue called hatchability.
Again, probably another episode to explain the difficulty of hatching chicks.
Yes.
But that is kind of limited supply over this last 6 to 12 months.
We've seen supply really drop off.
And we're seeing this increase in demand, right?
So natural supply and demand.
Chicken prices start to tick up because supply is thinning.
