Well, one of the big trends that have been happening over the last few years has been just the change in immigration policies in the U.S.
The Trump administration has signaled that they wanted to crack down on student visas, and that's spooked a lot of students from Europe and from Asia, specifically China.

school, am I going to be able to stay here and look for a job afterwards?
If they study international, they want to stay international.
And we've seen some pretty big declines over the past couple of years in international students.
And then this year, it's been even more so because it's mixed with the pandemic.
And that's another reason for these declines.
So students, if they don't want to study in the U.S.
or are nervous about if they'll be able to stay here and work afterwards or what's going to happen with their visas,
They're deciding, okay, well, I'm going to go to a place like Canada that maybe has a more friendly visa policy.
It gives you an extra year to look for a job after you graduate.
Or I'm going to stay closer to home in Europe.
One dean said it's more appealing to be an hour, two-hour flight away than to be over the Atlantic, right?
So some students feel more comfortable staying in Europe.
