Yeah, I did, but it was instinctive too.

I do something for the moment, and it's hard to shake for me, where, okay, I'm gonna do this, and it's gonna sound like that.

It never works for me like that.

For me, I'm inspired for the moment, and then whatever happens at that moment, there it is.

And then you document it, and then you move on.

And then the next thing doesn't sound at all like that.

And the other thing, too, was that I didn't have access to a studio or anything like that.

Back in those days, there was no digital, you know?

So you had to remember everything.

So to write my songs, I couldn't listen to anybody else's music.
