And I thought, okay, I thought, this guy's amazing.

And there weren't a lot out at that time.

I think it was Madcap Laughs, I think.

And I absorbed that record.

I still listen to that.

But I knew I could sing.

And I just had this burning yearning in my heart that I have to do this.

And that's when I just, again, I was so naive.

This is a crazy story.

There was a newspaper called The Recycler and every musician looked in the classifieds, people looking for musicians.

And so I found this couple and they wanted a singer.

So I went, it was in the Valley.

So I came out to the Valley and they had this warehouse thing where the door opens like that.

And they were in there and it was a drummer and a keyboardist.
