It is a challenge.
The way the legislation exists at the moment
And it's evolved that way to provide consumer protection.
But unfortunately, it means that the provision of advice is really quite expensive.
And so, I mean, just for instance, like our...
our sort of licensee, there's three advisors that sit under that.
I mean, just the basic cost before we see a single client, just to sort of pay the regulatory fees and insurance, and that's about $70,000 a year.
So that's no rent, that's no staff, that's nothing.
That's just cost to be licensed.
So you get a sense.
So that's why financial planning is expensive.
And
As I say, the government's, you know, the regulator's aware of it and I don't quite know where that gets us to.
So that being the case, and just to sort of clarify on that, I mean, generally, if you're going to get a
a reasonably comprehensive financial plan done, it's likely to cost you between $3,000 and $5,000.
