So, you know, those things can be relevant when you're sort of getting to the finish line on those deals.

Yeah, well, I think he wanted to have some of Bergey's attributes in his game.

And, you know, it's hard if you're not in the playoffs to build that kind of reputation, right?

So I think he probably had it in the back of his mind, then got more of an opportunity in Vegas.

We met on the Cape here when I signed with Vegas and I met with Jack in July.

I think he was on the way to a wedding in Chatham or something and I grabbed him for half an hour and we kind of talked that through.

What do you need from me and here's what I'd like you to look like.

And it was more about

Hey, I know he can bring it offensively.

You're going to run our power play.

But, you know, 200-foot player, Jack, with your ability to skate and your hockey IQ, I mean, you'll be a Hall of Famer if you get that down right.

There's no doubt in my mind he will be.

And he has gotten it right.

He used it in the Olympics, unbelievably, you know, against us.

I know in the final game, he used it that playoff series against McDavid.

They had a great, great series back and forth.

And he's doing it again.

So that's what Jack's all about.

He takes care of his body.

He's a pro player.
