Great guy is going to be, you know, a dad soon.
So I'm happy for Jack.
He's really turned the corner when it looked like, you know, with the Buffalo, the neck injury and all that, wasn't sure where it would land.
And he's, you know, he's their guy there.
He's the guy that leads that team, him and Mark Stone.
And he's done an unbelievable job there.
No, it's upsetting, I'm going to be honest, because once you're fired, your contract's basically terminated.
But the one thing people don't realize is all the deals, they've got the NHL bylaws, this and that, and I don't know every one, but you have non-compete clauses, so I can't resign today
and go work for someone tomorrow.
I can't work until Vegas gives me permission until this contract's up, which is at the end of next season.
So if you resign, all I do is not get paid.
Oh, interesting.
You can't just forfeit.
Yeah.
And like I said, I'm not, those are in, I think everybody's contract.
So that is what it is.
And, but you can't do that.
And I think they do that.
Probably because they wouldn't want a coach in the middle of the year to resign on February 1st and go work up the street on February 3rd, right?
Because they like a better situation.
