In the New South Wales camp that players were, what, put off by Laurie's motivational techniques.

It's a valid argument, though, there, Kenny, because we have –

been left at the gates the last three games in a row.

Queensland have basically put 20 points on us each game in the first half, right?

And New South Wales have come back great.

What I found interesting, and I've said this previously.

Yeah, they have.

But what I found interesting in previous times, so he's got this team in camp for 10 days, right?

But then Phil Gould said before the first match, he said in the commentary on Channel 9, he said, I've never seen a more intense dressing room.

So obviously the buildup in there before the game was pretty intense.

But then New South Wales went out and made all these fundamental mistakes.

Yeah.

Were they overcooked?

Maybe they were overcooked because there's a fine line.

You talk to the good coaches and they'll tell you there is a fine line between having them ready and having them over the top.

New South Wales may well have been over the top even though we're looking back on it and thinking that Laurie didn't do enough and he had put them to sleep.

I wonder if it's actually the other thing.

Something's gone on in camp that hasn't got them right.

But before the games, maybe they were overhyped.
