The big question for me is how does the Canadian team react now as kind of a favourite here, as a home team in a World Cup, where the pressure and the expectation is on them to definitely get out of the group, as an absolute minimum, get out of the group.
And really, I think it's to win the group, you know, is the secondary pressure.

Did you ever think you'd see the day where the World Cup came to Canada?
My visions of a Canada World Cup included Ivor Wind Stadium.
So no, it wasn't something that, you know, you think of, okay, the Canadian stadium at the time when I was 20 years old.
And it's just not fathomable that first of all, there's again, a North American Soccer League, which is obviously the MLS.
replacement of what I, as a kid, followed with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
But that's come to fruition through the 94 World Cup, which was 14 or 12 years after the 86 World Cup when I was 20.
But as things started to progress, as people like Victor Montaliani had a vision
And I think the perfect storm is the fact that we could combine with the United States and Mexico for a 48-team World Cup.
It makes sense now.
I don't think Canada ever could have hosted a World Cup on its own with a 24-team World Cup.
