So if your break-even cost is $60 with everything I just named, I ain't going through that list again, but I just named all the expenditures or the majority of them that run a lawn care business, and you only charge Mrs. Smith 60 bucks, you're just breaking even.
You ain't charging her $85 or more to mow that yard that only took you 30 minutes with two people for one man hour.

You know, Chuck in the truck, he only charges 45.
Well, I've been around this industry since 2011.
The Chucks and the trucks, they come and they go.
They come and they go.
They come and they go because they can't sustain it.
If you want to run a successful business, you have to charge enough.

There's a race to the bottom in our industry where guys just, they look next door and like, oh, well, the guy next door, he's only charging, you know, he's only charging 50 bucks and I really want to get this job, so I'm going to charge 45.
