But the reason you do the mowing is now the customer is used to seeing you every Tuesday show up and mow their yard and you build trust with them.

So now with intentional marketing, you can upsell them all these other services.

But you want the mowing to be profitable and then you want to upsell them the other stuff.

When it comes to us now pricing like mulch, for example, you now are dealing with material costs.

So with lawn mowing, you're just dealing with time.

How long does it take you to go and mow, edge, trim and blow?

And I already named, if you're just tuning in, I already named all the other overhead costs you have associated with your fuel and equipment and all of that stuff.

But when you start getting into jobs that have materials, now it's a whole other animal of pricing because, yes, you need to calculate how long is it going to take us.

Let's say the customer needs 15 yards of mulch.

How long is it going to take us to actually spread all this mulch and trench out along the garden beds and make a nice crispy edge?

But you also have to factor in now we actually have to buy the mulch.

So what if the mulch is $35 a yard?
